9 Foods You Should Never Feed Your Dog!

5. Caffeine

Caffeine

Oh, how cute a dog would look drinking tea and coffee! They would look especially adorable sipping on some green tea for their health, right?

WRONG!

All caffeinated drinks are not allowed to be given to dogs. Caffeine can overstimulate a dog’s nervous system and heart rate. Within a few hours of drinking tea or coffee, your pup might experience symptoms such as lack of bladder control, excessive thirst, restlessness, and vomiting.

Caffeine overdose can lead to some pretty serious health complications, such as lung failure and abnormal heart rhythms – which can in turn lead to death. In fact, caffeine overdose has been linked to several deaths already. Just one milligram of caffeine per kilogram of body weight can be deadly, but on average, a cup of coffee contains between 40 and 150 milligrams. Yikes!
