7. Bloody diarrhea, urine, vomit.

Remember the first rule of thumb: if your dog is sick enough to vomit, he’s sick enough to see a vet. But how do you know if it’s serious?
Bloody poop in dogs is a sign that something is wrong. When the stools are black, digested blood is present. If the stool is bright red, that signals bleeding in the colon or rectum. Either situation should be investigated as soon as possible, and you should seek help from your veterinarian.
When a dog urinates and there’s blood, it can be obvious or microscopic, called “hematuria”. There are a number of serious illnesses that can cause their urine to turn red, including a block in the urinary tract, bacterial infection, and even cancer.
