3. Coughing.
A cough is a symptom of an underlying problem in dogs.
Coughing in dogs is a one-off, unless it persists for more than a day or so. Possible causes include a windpipe obstruction, as well as kennel cough, bronchitis, pneumonia, heartworm disease, heart failure, and tumors of the lung.
Coughing can be caused by many things, but it often requires investigation and treatment.
