10. Red eye(s).
If your dog’s white area around the eye turns red, it’s a sign of inflammation or infection. Dogs with this condition are more likely to have one of these five eye diseases: external eyelid disease, conjunctivitis, corneal disease, scleral disease, and third eyelid disease.
Have you noticed a change in the appearance of your dog’s eyes? While redness could be caused by a wide range of things, it can also be a sign of eye inflammation or glaucoma. In some cases, eye disorders can lead to blindness, so any changes should be checked out.
